- ‘Buccaneer’ is a reliable walnut tree that starts cropping from a young age (3-5 years) and produces heavier crops than many varieties
- Delicious walnuts can be harvested green for pickling or left until autumn to dry and store. They can then be eaten raw or used in cooking
- Grows to 6 x 5m in 20 years but can be pruned smaller
- Green catkins appear in spring, attracting early pollinators
